• YouTube Data API: To fetch publicly available channel and video information.
• Anthropic (Claude AI): To analyze channel content and generate niche bend suggestions. Channel transcripts are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
• Stripe: To process payments securely.
• Resend: To send transactional emails (verification codes, notifications).
• Cloudflare: To host and deliver the Service.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated niche bends for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

5. Claimed Niches

When you claim a niche bend, it becomes permanently associated with your account. Claimed niches are hidden from other users and excluded from public display. The claim is permanent and cannot be transferred.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords (PBKDF2), HTTPS encryption, and secure token-based authentication (JWT).

7. Chrome Extension

The Niche Bender Chrome extension:

• Only activates on YouTube pages
• Reads the current page URL to detect YouTube channels
• Stores your authentication token locally in Chrome storage
• Does not collect browsing history or data from non-YouTube pages
• Communicates only with api.nichebending.ai

8. Cookies

We use localStorage to store your authentication token. We do not use tracking cookies. Third-party services (Cloudflare, Stripe) may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of your personal data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
